New App Monitors Your Health Stats And Interprets The Data @PSFK

Apps are more than fun and games. AlphaLab, a “startup accelerator” based in Pittsburgh, has created “VitalClip,” a small device that plugs into an iPhone and allows users to measure their vital signs to give them a snapshot of their general health and well-being. Plenty of apps that measure your health and wellness are available, but according to CEO Steven Radney, in his explanation on the AlphaLab blog, many “activity monitors only give you information about activity and you have to extract meaning from that yourself.” VitalClip claims to be the first that combines your personal health history with other environmental factors to make it easier for users to understand and regulate their health.
