La question du "modèle économique" du web ou du...
"Non, il n'y a pas de modèle économique pour l'info en ligne. Tant mieux, comme ça chacun cherche le sien et certains le trouvent. Comme sur le papier quoi. Alors si on arrêtait de se balancer n'importe quoi à la tête ? La question du "modèle économique" du web ou du papier est un faux débat qui, comme souvent, masque de vrais problématiques. L'information seule n'a jamais été rentable, ce sont les différentes sources de revenus que son audience suscite qui lui permattait de se financer. Mais ces sources de revenus traditionnelles de la presse quotidienne papier se transfrèrent massivement, les unes après les autres sur les supports numérique : publicité, petite annonces, avis de décès, avis de marchés publics...
Lorsque le développement numérique pourrait (devrait ?) êre considéré comme le laboratoire des journaux pour générer de nouvelles audiences et donc de nouvelles sources de revenus, il est encore considéré comme un secteur pas sérieux, voir dangereux. Un secteur non viable, " qui n'a pas de modèle économique ". Les légendes urbaines ont décidément la peau dure..."
